Applications for Batch_08 close on April 9th, 2025.
We strongly encourage teams to submit applications as early as possible. It maximizes your chances of selection as we accept teams on a rolling basis. Since most teams apply close to the deadline, applying early gives us much more time to review your application.
Our next Batch starts on June 9th, 2025, with a two-week IRL orientation in Zug, Switzerland. One founder must attend the IRL sessions and pitch at Demo Day.
All startups will benefit from the program, regardless of the stage.
Early-stage teams receive guidance on customer development and product strategy, while later-stage teams benefit from expertise in tokenomics, regulations, and go-to-market strategies.
Founders also gain access to a strong crypto network, fostering partnerships, user testing, sales, and fundraising opportunities.
Yes, participating startups will receive a travel stipend of USD 3K to travel to Switzerland.
After you apply to the program, the investment team will start reviewing your application. This process usually takes multiple weeks.
Our investment team will then ask the most promising teams for a 5-minute video in which you will pitch the project and team.
About 1/3 of these teams will proceed to the interview stage, which consists of a 45 minute video call with the investment team.
As the final step in the application process, you will get invited to a 20 minute interview with our full Investment Committee.
Final decisions are communicated over email. Note that due to the sheer number of applications and interviews, the investment team is unfortunately not able to give personalized feedback to teams that are not selected.
As part of the CV Labs ecosystem, companies and founders have access to a wide range of perks worth over $200k incl. co-working space access in Switzerland, Portugal, Liechtenstein and South Africa, cloud credits, design and branding agency, discount on code audits, mentorship, and more.
Yes, we offer $150k in funding ($115k in cash and $35k is considered value of program) through two investment tracks:
Early Stage (Standard Deal): For 9 out of 10 startups going through the program, CV VC will invest $150k for 6% equity with a token side letter.
Late Stage (Non-Standard Deal): Teams that either have strong product-market fit or in deep tech (e.g. L1/L2) may qualify for an exception and ask for a higher valuation when applying.
After the graduation of the program, there is the opportunity to receive up to $500k in follow-on investments from CV VC in your next round.
