Before transferring his acumen to blockchain, he was a banker at JPMorgan Chase in Switzerland, the UK, and Germany. Prior, he was an M&A and corporate finance advisor to the chemical industry across EMEA. Olaf has solid start-up experience across multiple sectors and founded nourishme GmbH and INTABA-Finance AG. He has an MBA from ECU (East Carolina University, North Carolina) and BA in International Business from Accadis Hochschule (Bad Homburg, Germany)
Mathias is an inspirational entrepreneur and investor that has been in the digital startup scene for over 20 years. Before turning his focus to blockchain, he built and exited several successful online and media companies, such as FaroTV and Europe’s crowdsourcing pioneer Atizo. Mathias has co-founded the Swiss Blockchain Federation, where he serves as a Board Member and Chairman of the Expert Council. He is a driving force behind the development of the global blockchain startup ecosystem.
David is a Swedish American citizen with in-depth tech and asset management experience. Before joining CV VC, he served as Managing Partner & Investment Manager at an ESG Asset Management Firm [Progressive Investors Network] and served as an advisor to multiple tech companies. He still serves on the Board of Directors at LaunchSource, an HR SaaS platform headquartered in Boston.

Benedek is a significant figure in the Crypto Valley ecosystem, renowned for his passion and transformative energy. Before joining CV Labs, Benedek established a formidable career in banking and technology. He held pivotal positions at major Swiss and German banks and institutions, working with corporate clients and institutions in overarching leadership roles. His transition into the blockchain domain marked a significant shift, where he emerged as an entrepreneur, leader, and founding member of multiple blockchain & crypto startups and ventures. In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavours, Benedek serves as the Chairman of the Crypto Valley Association's Startup Working Group and is actively involved in academic research and education, promoting knowledge transfer and the adoption of blockchain technology in Switzerland and globally. Benedek holds an MBA from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, specializing in disruptive technologies, including blockchain.
Isabel is putting CV Labs on the map by leading all marketing efforts including PR, websites, social media, and more! Prior to joining the team, Isabel worked as Marketing Manager at an independent magazine for sustainable fashion. She holds a MA in Marketing Management from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, and a BA in International Business Administration from the University of Tilburg, the Netherlands. In her free time, Isabel enjoys rock climbing, cooking, and exploring the Swiss mountains.

Ben is all things events and marketing! He is an experienced Marketing, Events, and Engagement Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the B2B and B2C industries. He is skilled in Project Management, Stakeholder Engagement and Retention, Customer Service Operations Management, and Business Development. Fabiola is engaging and growing CV Labs’ tech and digital assets community. She organizes flagship conferences and hubs such as the CV Summit, the Blockchain Hub at Slush, and events with opinion leaders surrounding CV VC’s research reports. Fabiola previously worked in blockchain security supporting protocols, decentralized exchanges, brokers and crypto banks with their smart contract security needs. At this time she launched the first Swiss Blockchain Security initiative. Fabiola has worked in China, the USA, Europe, and Latin America, and she speaks 7 languages!
Hugo's first venture was a real estate brokerage and consulting company in 2018. After finding success he Co-founded a distribution company in 2021. Additionally over the last five years Hugo has been the Ecosystem Growth Manager of Consensus Capital. He also is an active investor in multiple industries including property, tech, web3 and sports.

Located in Berlin, Ulrike has more than a decade of experience in building sustainable organizations and bringing the right people together. During her 15+ years in the consulting industry, she gained a sustainable network internationally as well as in Berlin. Ulrike will further develop the CV Labs ecosystem in Germany, especially our new location in Berlin. Ulrike is a female founder and business angel for companies with focus on circular economy and sustainability.

Charlie joined the team in December 2022, having graduated from the University of Exeter with a BA in International Relations and Modern Languages in the summer. Having gained marketing experience through his previous role in the FMCG industry, Charlie is looking to take on the world of Blockchain. In his free time, Charlie is all things sports and can be found on the tennis court or rugby pitch.
Connor started his mediamatician apprenticeship at CV Labs in August 2021 after successfully completing a preliminary design course at the Lucerne School of Art. He is now learning how to develop and implement his design talent into blockchain marketing. As a native Canadian, he has a passion for ice hockey and loves to play with his friends in his free time, either on real ice or roller skates.

Lukas was involved in building up CV VC from scratch since the very beginning. He is an expert in Blockchain & Crypto (Web 3.0), Entrepreneurship, and VC Investing; he advised numerous startups globally. Lukas is a strong believer in Web 3.0 and the decentralized & tokenized economy. Lukas accumulated 10+ years of international professional experience in various fields incl. Finance, VC/PE investing, and Strategy & Business Development at global companies such as Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and LGT CP. Lukas holds an M.A. HSG & B.A. HSG, from University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland.
Based in London, Gvantsa is a seasoned venture capital investor with extensive experience in Web3, blockchain, and traditional finance. As the former Head of Fundraising and Structuring at Outlier Ventures, she successfully invested in and advised over 100 startups on seed/Series A fundraisings. With 15+ years of investment and advisory experience, including at Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse, Gvantsa specialized in M&A, private equity, and venture capital in tech and digital media sectors, facilitating investments exceeding $1 billion. Gvantsa holds degrees from LSE (MSc Finance), UCL (LLM Law), and Warwick University (BA Law and Business).
Bastian is part of the investment team where he is proactively identifying new investment opportunities and collaborating with the team to support CV VC's portfolio. Prior to joining CV VC, Bastian worked in consulting, where he advised financial services firms and monetary authorities on the adoption of blockchain technology. He holds an MA in Banking and Finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and spent a semester abroad at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
Janis is building and managing CV Labs’ global Accelerator which includes stakeholder management, startup scouting, and startup consultation. Before joining CV Labs, Janis worked in various startups across the globe and started two of his own ventures. He holds a MSC in Organizational innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Copenhagen Business School. In his free time, Janis is passionate about everything Blockchain related, football and exploring the planet earth.

Jarryd is a qualified Chartered Accountant & CFA charterholder with a formal education from the University of Cape Town and continuing professional development at Stanford, Columbia and LSE. An experienced finance specialist with 10 years of experience, Jarryd’s career in Investment Banking / M&A and Private Equity has taken him through roles in London, New York, and South Africa. With a demonstrated history of working in the TMT sector internationally, Jarryd has had a particular focus on the technology and financial services/fintech sectors. Prior to joining CV VC, Jarryd has been based in South Africa and has been focused on deploying impact-led capital into technology businesses across Sub-Saharan Africa, focusing on countries such as Rwanda, Kenya, and Malawi.

Brenton Naicker is an experienced FinTech professional with vast experience and qualifications within the crypto asset and Blockchain space. Before joining CV VC, he spent two years as the Head of Business Development & Partnerships for Binance Africa, playing an instrumental role in their growth and dominance across the African continent. Prior to this, he founded a boutique crypto asset consultancy and co-founded a FinTech venture consulting and advisory firm, which is still very active. He has been frequently featured in media as a subject matter expert in the space and formed part of the initial IFWG stakeholder group in South Africa.

Björn, Founder of Swiss consulting firm RSNDL, brings 29 years in finance and over 5 in digital assets. He advises startups in Regenerative Finance and Digital Art, bridging traditional and decentralized finance. Named Financial Services Ambassador for the GBBC in 2024, Björn's career includes roles at DEUTSCHE BANK, REUTERS, PICTET & CIE, J.P. MORGAN, and DIGIVAULT. Outside work, he enjoys sailing, combat sports, and classic cars.

Cibele is the first smile you‘ll see when entering CV Labs. As a Host, she is the first point of contact for inquiries and takes care of offers, contracts, hospitality, and the overall happiness of customers. She loves to bring like-minded people together and give communities a platform to exchange ideas. Prior to joining CV Labs, Cibele drove various projects for a Brazilian Women's Group helping them to grow their community. She worked in Europe and Latin America and speaks four languages. She is a University of St. Gallen graduate and has successfully participated in one of their Women Back to Business programs

Florian is a crypto and blockchain enthusiast and co-owner of the investment and advisory boutique Einhorn + Rakete AG. From 2013 to 2019, Kohler was the CEO of Swiss Ice Hockey. Before that, he worked at Swiss radio and television SRF - Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen for many years as the Executive Producer.
Nicolai is leading the global expansion and innovation effort of CV Labs. He identifies new hubs, building a local staff on the ground, and helping in the initial setup until a local team is up and running. Next to the expansion, he oversees the innovation efforts such as the global incubator and startup competitions. Besides working at CV Labs, Nicolai co-owns an Asian-fusion take-away in the heart of Luzern.

Julien is a veteran blockchain & crypto investor with a proven track record. Julien is a crypto native and has a deep technical understanding of blockchain technology and its applications, having built the blockchain practice of a big 4 consultancy, led a team in an L1 start-up, and bootstrapped his own 8-figure fund.
Danny acts as a Venture Partner with CV VC, building long-term portfolio management strategies with the CV VC senior management board. He is an expert in start-up acceleration, Web3 applications, and alternative asset investments. Danny is a strong advocate of digital transformation, having delivered dozens of keynote speeches on fintech applications and blockchain technology to professionals worldwide. Before blockchain, Danny enjoyed a stellar career in international finance, facilitating landmark investment deals between Chinese financial institutions and their western counterparts.
