Here is a short overview and description of the activities of our new startups:
Founded in 2015, Scorechain builds crypto-tracking tools with a focus on «know your transaction» (KYT) support to combat money laundering (AML), terrorism finance and other sanctioned activities. With over 200 clients, including PwC or Swisscom, in 40 countries, Scorechain aims to become one of the leading global players in the quickly growing blockchain analytics and compliance solutions market. The rising complexity of crypto compliance and regulation is paving the way for implementing blockchain analytics across a broad range of crypto financial service providers. CV VC has partnered with Tioga Capital from Belgium and German BFG Blockchain Founders Group & Blockrocket to fund this late seed round.
London-based Coinrule provides individuals, retail and professional cryptocurrency investors with an automated crypto trading strategy platform for their assets. CV VC has joined a prominent group of investors, including Twitch and Fitbit founders, Zilliqa Capital, Urban Innovation Fund, Kube VC and more in this $2.2 million seed funding round. Besides the investment round, Coinrule has also joined the YCombinator S21 cohort.
Coinrule builds an investment ecosystem that allows users to backtest strategies, copy trades from expert investors, identify arbitrage opportunities and best price execution across exchanges. The Company has already integrated its offering with leading global crypto exchanges, including Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, Bitstamp, etc. Over 13,000 users already trade assets worth GPB 100 million every month, and in any given month, users create over 100,000 strategies on the platform.
Egypt-based Pravica builds a revolutionary communication platform using blockchain technology to empower user privacy and security. Utilizing the Stacks Blockchain, Pravica is reinventing digital communication protocols to engineer a tamper-proof decentralized identity secured by the Bitcoin network and a fully decentralized storage system. Pravica completed the LongHash, Singapore accelerator in 2020. CV VC´s investment comes days ahead of Pravica joining the Stacks Accelerator, which supports global tech startups building businesses with the Stack Blockchain in New York. In parallel, Pravica is taking part in CV Labs´ batch_03 incubation program as our first acceleration startup, given its more advanced status compared to our regular incubation investments.
